Loren Ash
MA, Licensed Professional Counselor Associate
She/Her
Loren became a therapist after taking a trauma informed care class during her undergraduate internship. Loren decided to dedicate her career and life to learning how to create compassionate spaces where individuals can remove their armor and heal. She does this by prioritizing non-judgment and respect in her work as a therapist and by using evidence-based treatments to support her clients to reach their goals. Beyond counseling, she is a certified yoga instructor and implements principles of yoga (mindfulness, breathwork, and mindful movement) into her practice when welcomed by the client.
Before becoming a therapist, Loren worked for Benton County and then Oregon Health Sciences University in Disability Access Services. Loren advocated for and assisted in the planning of accessible trails and outdoor spaces. She also created educational curriculum for various health topics for individuals with cognitive diversities. Loren has always been passionate about improving the lives of communities and individuals.
Loren has lived in Bend since 2022 because of her love for the outdoors as well as her acceptance of a job at Drishti! Loren enjoys spending time snowboarding, mountain biking, camping, doing yoga, and playing with her two dogs, Aya (the Aussie) and Lucy (A German Shepherd).
Loren is unbelievably honored to know and support her clients on their journey towards healing and growth.
