Lisa Rosen

MSW, LCSW, CADC III, MAC
She/Her

Lisa always knew she wanted a career where she could be of service to others. Before becoming a therapist, Lisa taught second grade in a high-needs community outside of Washington, D.C. It was in this setting where she began to see, first-hand, the interplay between child and family well-being and how this impacted students’ capacity for learning more than anything that occurred in the classroom. Her desire to do more for her students so they could cherish learning and flourish in the classroom, coupled with her own discomfort with growing academic demands that she felt many students could not meet, such as completing homework without parental support because many parents of her students worked multiple jobs, propelled her to apply for a social work degree. It remains one of the best decisions she has made!

Lisa has lived in Bend since 2010, but first moved to Central Oregon in the late 90’s, staying for several years before heading East for education and to be closer to family. Lisa enjoys spending time with her family, including her beloved dog, and being active outside, especially in the Summer! It is with immense gratitude that Lisa gets to work as a therapist in this community and as a support to the amazing Drishti team!
