She/Her
Kari became a counselor because she wanted to positively impact people’s lives and the community where she lives. Advocating for mental and holistic wellness is her passion. She loves working with adults, couples, and young adults to manage their stress, gain better self-awareness and learn tools for navigating life’s hardships, and improving self-agency and relationships. She focuses on strengths and kindly encourages clients to come up with their best solutions.
Before becoming a counselor, Kari was a student. She enjoys academia and has a tendency towards philosophizing and studying. She hopes to be a student for life. She also volunteered and continues to volunteer with people in need and dogs.
Kari has lived in Central Oregon since 2018 because she grew up vacationing here and always wanted to live here. Kari enjoys spending time with her three children, four dogs, husband and parents, particularly hiking, biking or being in nature. She feels honored to support clients on their wellness journey.
