Bridgette Hutton

MSW, CSWA
She/Her/Hers

Bridgette became a social worker because of the learning and passion she experienced after studying psychology in her undergraduate years. Bridgette learned a deep appreciation for the complexities of human beings and is committed to acknowledging that each person’s experiences, struggles, and strengths are unique. Bridgette finds fulfillment in guiding individuals through their personal journeys, supporting their growth and transformation while always recognizing that change is a process. Bridgette believes in the power of empathy and understanding, knowing that person’s potential is often unlocked when they feel truly seen and supported.

Before becoming a social worker, Bridgette gained invaluable experience as a caregiver for the elderly, where they developed a deep sense of empathy and understanding for those facing physical and emotional challenges. They worked closely with both the elderly and persons experiencing disabilities, helping them access vital resources and support within the community, ensuring they received the care and services they deserved. Additionally, Bridgette worked with student-athletes, focusing on their mental health and well-being, guiding them through the pressures of balancing academics, sports, and personal life. This diverse background has shaped Bridgette's approach as a social worker, equipping them with the skills to support individuals from all walks of life with compassion, insight, and dedication.

Bridgette has lived in Bend since 2022 because of the community she has created here and for her love and gratitude for the outdoors. Bridgette enjoys spending time with her partner visiting the local coffee shops and walking around, spending time with her friends, crocheting, reading, and painting. Bridgette is grateful to witness others’ journeys towards healing and growth and to support clients during such transformative moments in their lives.
