Abigail Kochersberger
MSW, CSWA
She/Her/Hers
Abigail became a Social Worker because she has a natural inclination toward listening and empathy, a deep desire to help others navigate life’s challenges, and a passion for mental health advocacy. She believes in providing compassionate support and creating a safe space to explore thoughts, emotions, and behaviors with informed practice that can lead to self-awareness, personal growth, and improved relationship with self and others.
Before becoming a therapist, Abigail most recently enjoyed the full-time role of chief parenting officer, family nurturer, and home-based educator to her two children. Along life’s way, she has devoted her time and energy to many different ways of being of service, actively dedicating time through both professional roles and personal volunteer work, with a primary goal of making a positive impact on the lives and well-being of others.
Abigail has lived in Bend since 2003, raising her family while enjoying the natural beauty, abundant sunshine, and access to a variety of outdoor activities that Central Oregon has to offer.
Abigail enjoys spending time with loved ones, snuggling her foster kittens, reading and collecting fairly useless facts, traveling both near and far, and loves being active and embracing movement in a myriad of different ways.
Abigail is honored to have the opportunity to develop meaningful and empowering therapeutic relationships with her clients and is deeply grateful to work in a profession that supports people in healing and achieving healing and transformation.
